I am in and ready for contributing, sharing and learning.

Dear Nelly and everybody.

I would like to say happy new year!

Agriculture and Climate Change is a topic that i would not like to miss this time round being that climate change is real and already hear with us! Being that agriculture is the main stay for most of us in Africa, climate change should be tackled to enable the farmers adopt to the changes and be able to mitigate the changes.

I am waiting for the right time to participate.

Thank you for such a topic.

Kind regards,

Welcome Ufitabe.

We are glad to have you. Feel free to browse through the weeks’ discussioms . Our current discussion is in Week 4 dealing with gender aspects of agriculture and climate change.

You are right Wengo, Farmers need to understand the effect of temperature (degrees Celsius) or the amount of rain (mm) to their farming activities. The issue here is how do I make my audience understand the EFFECT and be able to interpret given figures (Celsius/mm) for them to make the informed decision in farming business. I cant afford to miss this discussion.
