I am here under another username Buzo. As usual, I have very high expectations from the e-Discussion. I hope to learn and enhance my knowledge on how to collaborate, learn and adapt CLA within the time of this discussion. Cheers everyone.

Hello Farm Radio International family.
My name is Denis Ngwenya from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I am the programs officer for a youth community radio initiative known as Y-FM. Our community radio initiative targets the youth between the ages of 13-35 years.
My favourite hobby is travelling, discovering new things and meeting people for the first time.
I would like to be part of this collaboration for better farmer programs. My challenge so far is electricity. We endure an 18 hour load shedding everyday. Moreover, Internet connection is not reliable. However, I’m looking forward to travel with you all guys in these four weeks.
Cheers!!
I would like to find out from others how collaboration for better farmer programs work in their various countries. As you might be aware, I come from a country that has limits as far as access to information is concerned. How does local media, particularly community radio, help the farmers to better manage things like climate change, land management, diseases and pests, markets etc…

Hi Matilda,
We are happy to have you on board. You are welcome. We will be happy to get your contributions from whatever end you might decided to share your experience. I admired your brief introduction and kindly wish you could upload a profile photo of yourself. Others who left theirs pending should also endeavour to do same.
Collaboration is best between farmers and stakeholders when we know them by face and name.
You all have been wonderful.
