Hello, my name is Moses Provabs working with Farm Radio International as a Radio Craft/ Project Officer in Kenya. I have 10 years of work experience as a journalist, I have worked with different organisations and Radio stations in impact projects across the Country and beyond.
The collaborative effort has meant that it’s been possible to address multiple constraints. These include low crop productivity, poor market access, environmental degradation, and social inequalities. Through that we can build strong value chain focus. Which involves linking – among others – farmers, agribusinesses, traders and policy makers. Hence improved productivity.
However, stakeholders within the value chain must develop a better understanding of constraints and opportunities so they can massively scale out more productive, efficient and sustainable farm practices. And crucially, continued collaborations will be necessary to increase the continent’s capacity in science, extension, policy, institutions, governance and leadership.
The question is how can all these be implemented to harness agricultural potential and spur economic growth in Africa?
They say acting is a hobby that can give you a range of transferable skills suitable for any job. It can improve your confidence and make you feel more comfortable speaking in front of large audiences. You will also have to cooperate/Collaborate with other people, as well as work independently. To be an actor you must be reliable, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines – the rest of the cast will be relying on you when it comes to rehearsals and performances. In short I love acting as a hobby
