It is normal expectations for Governments to support courses but these phenomena do not work in Africa, so what left is sacrifice from everyone in this emergency of threat from climate change. We have to use every mean available to us to help curb this menace. Research and technology could be the surest way of addressing this, but need funding to do that, our foreign investors or development partners such as USAID, UKAID and others seem to support campaigns on the issues than giving the needed scientific tools to tackle the issues. Awareness creation is key but the final resort are pragmatic measures put in place to deal the issues.

Good morning everyone,
Looking forward to a fruitful discussion this coming week. Indeed there’s a lot to learn and discuss about climate change. Happy weekend to you all.

Good morning distinguish ladies and gentlemen my name is SULEIMAN Ibrahim from Nigeria Niger state to be precise I am a broadcaster working with RADIO station in Nigeria I am glade to be part of the discussion I have log in problems due to the seizure of network by the federal government to curb the activities of bandit attack

I was impressed with the topic of discussion on climate change which has been a major isure in Nigeria and other parts of Africa continent as a result of bush burning and felling down trees in our farms and Hamlet

But the case of Nigeria things are getting worsen because the only alternative is cooking gas as I am speaking to u now the price of cooking gas has skyrocketed day by day now people are now returning to cutting down trees it has become a major set back to us the government instead of them to monitor the price of cooking gas or set up an agency to control the sales of the gas but nothing is happening now the locals have no option than to go back to fall down trees for charcoal production and cooking

DINTIE BALUWIE ABU IS MY NAME, FROM CHALLU A FARMING COMMUNITY UNDER SISSALA EAST MUNICIPAL OF THE UPPER WEST REGION OF GHANA, I WORK WITH RADFORD FM. AS A FARMER MYSELF I WOULD WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AND IT EFFECTS TO THE ENVIRONMENT
